DatePicker not working correctly on sharepoint 2013

Ran into a strange issue today with all date picker on the site showing an unusable calendar.   After searching what could the issue be from custom css and custom master page, it was the theme.  I just reran the design manager and all good.

  1. Can you explain further how you fixed it? I am having the same problem.

  3. I had the same issue on SharePoint Online. I needed to recreate the master page in the root of the Master Page Gallery not a subfolder (incidentally I used the starter master afresh from Design Manager and pasted over verbatim my existing failing master page code ).

I published the master page again and it corrected the issue with the rendering when it was selected as the new master page.

I think there is some sort of reference issue/glitch.

    Thanks to the original poster.

  4. Managed to fix this in the end for SharePoint Online. Created a new Master page from within Design Manager -> Master Pages. It gave a fresh layout with a new mater page version number embedded in the page. I guess the page template has moved on with fixes etc.

Also don't start from Seattle.master or equivalent. These are older templates. Also don't copy master pages from one site collection to another, there are a number of embedded links in the master page which are unique to each site.
